We are delighted to announce that Lydia Nabi (Year 13) has won the prestigious Stranmillis College Year 13 Schools’ Essay Competition for Education Studies with her essay ‘What have your experiences of being a pupil taught you about effective teaching and learning?’
Dr Frances Burgess from Stanmillis said the College was very impressed with Lydia’s entry and will make a presentation to Lydia in School in early September.
A superb night of entertainment, played and sung to the highest standard. Amazing talent all around. Well done to all, both pupils and staff.
4Day Five: Firstly, we enjoyed a tour of the Capitol building. Got to go into the Public gallery of the House of Representatives. Heard some Congressmen speak. Visited the Library of Congress. We visited the Supreme Court and finished the evening at the Lincoln Memorial. 🇺🇸💙🦢❤️
What a first day in New York! Central Park, Central Station, Times Square and Empire State Building to name a few. Lots of tired girls and staff who have been on the go for 24 hours. All tucked up in bed 😴🇺🇸💙🦢
