NI Youth Football Cup Finalists

The Northern Ireland Youth Football Cup Finals took place on Monday with the U-14 Final featuring three Year 9 pupils. Daisy Mullin and Molly McCully played for Linfield in a very tight match against Sophie Breadon for Glentoran. Linfield won 1-0 (Daisy scored) and are NI U-14 Cup Champions! Well done, girls.

Sailing Achievement

Year 9 pupil Sarah Eagleson competed in the Topper Ireland – National Sailing Event on Sunday in the Topper 4.2 class.  This one day event, hosted by County Antrim YC, Whitehead, had 40 competitors from all over the island of Ireland and Sarah came 2nd in her class. Well done Sarah!

QUB Future Hockey Star

Year 11 pupil Emma Creighton was nominated for Queen’s University Belfast Future Stars Girls Hockey Team and attended a formal dinner last night, as a representative of GCS. Congratulations, Emma!
