The autumn term saw the introduction of Rivers to the Year 9 Geography course. To put theory into practice we visited Colin Glen to study changes in the river. Pupils were able to measure width, depth and load size. The results were then collated and, on returning to School, pupils wrote a report on the changes they found.
Despite some wet feet, the girls had a fantastic time.

4Day Five: Firstly, we enjoyed a tour of the Capitol building. Got to go into the Public gallery of the House of Representatives. Heard some Congressmen speak. Visited the Library of Congress. We visited the Supreme Court and finished the evening at the Lincoln Memorial. 🇺🇸💙🦢❤️
What a first day in New York! Central Park, Central Station, Times Square and Empire State Building to name a few. Lots of tired girls and staff who have been on the go for 24 hours. All tucked up in bed 😴🇺🇸💙🦢
