Congratulations to Year 11 pupil Molly McKibben who won a total of 5 Gold Medals in Taekwon-do at the World ITF Championships recently held in Glasgow.
Molly won a Gold Medal in each of the 5 categories that she competed in.
Headmaster Eric Thompson commented on her achievement:
“This is an outstanding level of excellence which demonstrates Molly’s commitment and dedication in the sport. Her hard work has ensured success at the highest level. School is very proud of her.”
A superb night of entertainment, played and sung to the highest standard. Amazing talent all around. Well done to all, both pupils and staff.
4Day Five: Firstly, we enjoyed a tour of the Capitol building. Got to go into the Public gallery of the House of Representatives. Heard some Congressmen speak. Visited the Library of Congress. We visited the Supreme Court and finished the evening at the Lincoln Memorial. 🇺🇸💙🦢❤️
What a first day in New York! Central Park, Central Station, Times Square and Empire State Building to name a few. Lots of tired girls and staff who have been on the go for 24 hours. All tucked up in bed 😴🇺🇸💙🦢
