Congratulations to Glenlola Collegiate Year 8 pupil Ellie Brown who captained her Ards Swimming Team to win the Aqua Sprint Shield for the fourth year in a row. Ards is the first club to manage this historic feat.
Three of the outstanding swimmers for Ards were Ellie McKibben who won three individual races as well as Adam Barnes and Rachel Childs.
The final result came down to the relays and young Ellie turned in second and touched first to cement her club’s success.
A superb night of entertainment, played and sung to the highest standard. Amazing talent all around. Well done to all, both pupils and staff.
4Day Five: Firstly, we enjoyed a tour of the Capitol building. Got to go into the Public gallery of the House of Representatives. Heard some Congressmen speak. Visited the Library of Congress. We visited the Supreme Court and finished the evening at the Lincoln Memorial. 🇺🇸💙🦢❤️
What a first day in New York! Central Park, Central Station, Times Square and Empire State Building to name a few. Lots of tired girls and staff who have been on the go for 24 hours. All tucked up in bed 😴🇺🇸💙🦢
