Sports Results


On Saturday 18 November a number of girls competed at the NI Schools’ Trampolining competition.  The U19 Intermediate team won their section. The U14 Intermediate team finished second.  The U13 Novice team finished third.  Kenzie Richardson finished 3rd in the U14 Elite section and Emily Magowan finished 3rd in the Novice section.


On Saturday 25 November, Glenlola’s hockey teams played against Strathearn.  The 1st XI drew 2-2, with the goals scored by Lauren Clarke and Abbie King.  The 2nd XI won 1-0 with Brooke Stranaghan scoring the goal.  The Junior teams also played against Strathearn and they were all narrowly defeated.

The 1st XI played against Coleraine Grammar on Wednesday 29 November in their cup match.  They narrowly missed out on penalty flicks after drawing 2-2.  Well done to Abbie King and Megan Inglis who scored the goals.

A special mention must go to the 2B XI who drew 1-1 in their cup match on Wednesday 29 November, with Chloe Eadie scoring the goal.  The 2nd XI played against Lagan College in their cup match and after a very tight and competitive game, they won on penalty flicks after drawing 1-1, with Hannah Collins scoring the goal.

On Friday 1 December, the Year 8 hockey teams played against Regent House.  the A team lost 1-0, the B team drew 1-1, the Cs won 5-2 and the Ds lost 4-1.

On Saturday 2 December, Glenlola’s hockey teams played against BRA.  The 1st XI drew 1-1, with Libby Morton scoring the goal.  The 2nd XI lost 1-0, the 2B XI lost 4-0 and the 3rd XI also lost 3-0.  The U14A team lost 1-0 and the U14Bs drew 0-0.


A massive well done to the Intermediate A netball team who won 29-7 against Loreto Omagh in the 2nd round of the NI cup and also to the B team who defeated Regent House 20-4.
