On Saturday 23 January Glenlola Collegiate Senior hockey teams played Friends’ School, Lisburn.  The 1st XI were well beaten 5-0 by a strong Friends’ team.  In a competitive game the 2nd XI were unlucky to lose 4-0.  The 2B XI lost 2-0.

The junior teams also played Friends.  Both the U13A and U13B teams came from behind to draw 1-1. The U13A goal was scored by Anna McCarroll and the U13B goal was scored by Emma Allen.  The U14A team lost 4-0 to a very strong Friends’ team.

On Monday 25 January, in a very competitive game against Carrick Grammar in the Junior Plate, the U14A team won on penalty strokes.  The game was tied 1-1 after full time, Glenlola’s goal scored by Tori Brown, with no goal produced after extra time.  After a tense penalty stroke competition, Beth Howard saved the final stroke and Glenlola won 4-3.

TAGSA League Fixtures

Year 8 and year 9 netball teams played Priory Integrated College.  The Year 8 team won 7-2.  The Year 9B team won 10-3 and the 9C team won 10-1.
