New Eyes on the Skies

Glenlola astronomers have been given two new refractor telescopes and a number of lenses by Mr Peter Friend, who was invited into school by Mrs Edwards for an official hand-over of these wonderful instruments.  Pupils studying GCSE Astronomy will make good use of the telescopes over the next few months, as long as we get clear skies!  All GCSE girls are now honing their observation skills by drawing constellations as part of their Controlled Assessment task.
