Mathematics Festival at QUB
Today, Friday 21 October, was the Mathematics festival at Queen’s University, Belfast. This special festival was to celebrate Maths week and all across Ireland, people are attending events to acknowledge this interesting aspect of life. The maths festival had loads of challenging problems to solve and we all enjoyed spending the morning pouring over these puzzles with the intention and determination to crack them. The sense of achievement and pure excitement when you solve one of these problems is overwhelming. You feel so happy to have attained your goal – even though you may have had a little help from the amazing volunteers and mathematicians present!
The Maths Festival was so much fun and allowed us to explore Maths in a new, exciting and fun way. The experience was amazing!
