Glenlola Junior Chamber Choir were the proud winners of the Addy Cup and Burnside Shield for their performance of For the Beauty of the Earth and Carol of the Bells at Holywood Festival on Tuesday 26th November. Their performance was described by the adjudicator as,
“…very well prepared singing, much detailed and well presented. If I had been conducting this I would have been delighted.”
A superb night of entertainment, played and sung to the highest standard. Amazing talent all around. Well done to all, both pupils and staff.
4Day Five: Firstly, we enjoyed a tour of the Capitol building. Got to go into the Public gallery of the House of Representatives. Heard some Congressmen speak. Visited the Library of Congress. We visited the Supreme Court and finished the evening at the Lincoln Memorial. 🇺🇸💙🦢❤️
What a first day in New York! Central Park, Central Station, Times Square and Empire State Building to name a few. Lots of tired girls and staff who have been on the go for 24 hours. All tucked up in bed 😴🇺🇸💙🦢
