GCSE Geographers Visit Titanic Quarter

On Tuesday 8 April, the GCSE Geographers visited Titanic Quarter.  Once an area for shipbuilding and rope manufacturing, it began to decline when industry moved away from Belfast.  Today, the site known as ‘Titanic Quarter’ is being redeveloped and is now an important hub for tourism.  We were able to see, at first hand, the work being carried out to transform the area.  Along our route we visited the ARC apartment complex, Titanic Belfast and T13.
