Francofest

Francofest is a fun and engaging event for Year 10 pupils studying French and is designed to be inclusive of all abilities. Pupils create trade stands to sell products they have made or run a tourist information office. Whilst preparing for this, they gain enhanced ICT, marketing and enterprise skills and thinking skills and personal capabilities. They use their reading, listening, speaking and writing skills in French for the event in a realistic and safe environment. The event itself involves competing exclusively in French against many other schools at an all day event in Queen’s university.
