In Sixth Form English Society pupils in Year 13 and 14 are given the opportunity to learn more about and teach others about English off the syllabus and in the wider world. Topics for this year include The American Novel, Feminism, Romanticism, Christmas, Dystopia, Fantasy and Magic Realism as well as visits from local writers.

Education Minister @paulgivan visited @GlenlolaSchool and was delighted to meet Principal Eric Thompson, Board of Governors, staff and pupils.

A superb night of entertainment, played and sung to the highest standard. Amazing talent all around. Well done to all, both pupils and staff.
4Day Five: Firstly, we enjoyed a tour of the Capitol building. Got to go into the Public gallery of the House of Representatives. Heard some Congressmen speak. Visited the Library of Congress. We visited the Supreme Court and finished the evening at the Lincoln Memorial. 🇺🇸💙🦢❤️
