Charlene’s Project Update
On Friday 8 March we received an update on the work of Charlene’s Project, our whole school international charity, from Mr Barr and Bethany Harper, and heard of the difference Glenlola Collegiate School is making in Uganda. We heard of the incredible amounts that had been raised over the years, and how events like the Colour Run, the Uganda Dander and the Easter Egg Hunt have helped build a secondary school which allow many young people in Uganda to access secondary school education for the first time. We look forward to continuing to support this vital work through our fundraising efforts, and to hearing more of how our pupils are making an impact in other parts of the world.
