Congratulations to Megan Markwell in Year 9 for winning our Pi Day Competition on 14th March. Megan was able to recite Pi to an impressive 100 decimal places from memory!

Football Champions

Three of our Year 8 footballers, who were SBYL Division 1 winners, last weekend did the double by becoming SBYL Division 1 Supplimentary Cup Champions.  The girls all play for Ards Rangers Hawks. Well done Ellie, Sophie and Myanna!

The 3rd XI hockey team travelled to Larne yesterday to play in the second round of their cup. They drew 1-1 and then dominated the penalty run ins with a 3-0 win, showing incredible skill and composure under pressure. Last night Glenlola pupils Poppy Simpson, Eva Posner, Lainey Workman and Aeryn McAneney competed in the regional Soroptimists (NI) Public Speaking Competition, alongside pupils from other schools including St Columbanus, Glastry, Strathern and Regent House.
