On Tuesday 23 January, Glenlola’s 1st XI hockey team played against Foyle College in the first round of the Schools’ Plate. They won 2-0, with Abbie King and Katie McGonigle scoring the goals. Well done girls.

On Saturday 6 January the 2nd XI played against Ballymena Academy in the 3rd round of the cup.  They narrowly missed out, losing 3-1.  Well done to Ella Ross who scored the goal. Ireland Water Polo Honours

Three Glenlola pupils have been selected to represent the Ireland U15 girls at water polo: Amelia Urry Year 9, Penny Nicholson, Year 10 and Lara Strong-Turney, Year 11.  All three girls play for Bangor Barracudas at U15 and U17 level. Congratulations, girls, on a marvellous achievement!
