This weekend (12 & 13 October),  Glenlola Swim Team took part in the Swim Ulster Schools Gala, competing against more than 1000 pupils from across Ulster and had incredible success.

Ellie McKibbin became Ulster Champion in the Inter 100 Freestyle and also won Silver in the 200 IM.

Zoe Thompson won Silver in the Senior 100 Breaststroke and Bronze in the 200 IM.

Amelia Urry won Silver in the Inter 100 Breaststroke.

Tarryn Barr won Bronze in the Inter 100 Butterfly.

The Intermediate Relay Team of Ellie McKibbin, Amelia Urry, Lucy Hill and Tarryn Barr were crowned Ulster Champions in the Medley Relay and won Silver in the Freestyle Relay.

As a result of such strong performances from all of our Intermediate girls in individual and relay events throughout Sunday, Glenlola Collegiate won the Swim Ulster Intermediate Schools Cup, a fabulous achievement.

In the Minor Section, Matilda Urry and Rebekah Laffin qualified for the Irish Minor Schools Finals, to be held in Dublin in 2020.
