Hockey

On Tuesday afternoon, the 3rd XI hockey team travelled to Limavady to play in the quarter-final of the Gibson plate. It was a nail-biting match with some excellent hockey on display from both sides. With just a minute remaining seven girls who had bravely stepped forward to take a penalty run. However, with only 2 seconds left on the clock (literally!) Lucy Kernaghan scored a superbly worked goal to secure the win.

We are delighted to say the girls won 1-0 and now progress to the semi-final, where they will play Sullivan Upper.

Netball

We are delighted that our Senior A squad are in the semi-final of the CUP. The standard of netball from the girls has been outstanding and they have adapted admirably as a team for the last two matches. The team have really stepped up with a number having to play significantly out of position, further highlighting their level of skill and teamwork. This is a tremendous achievement as they are now one of the top 4 teams in Northern Ireland. Our semi-final match is against BRA on March 12th, and we intend to bring a coach of supporters.

Our Junior team (Year 10) are also having a great season and are in the quarter finals of their cup against OLSPCK, date TBC.
