Co Down Cup squads

On Tuesday 13 October there were some outstanding performances by our Year 8 and 9 footballers in the County Down Cup at Eddie Irvine Sports complex.

The A Team made the final to be beaten by a very strong Kilkeel High School.  They played 3 matches back to back with no breaks, a magnificent achievement! The team was without a keeper but Sarah Eadie stepped up for the final with some excellent saves.

The B Team were runners up in their group and were only knocked out on penalties in the semi finals.  A  special mention goes to this team, most of whom have not played football until starting Glenlola a few weeks ago!
