Equestrian Success

Congratulations to Glenlola Collegiate Year 9 pupil Zara Wood who qualified to compete at Cavan in the Dressage Ireland National Winter Championships.

Zara placed second in the Prelim and Novice Trailblazer Classes and also placed fourth in the Novice class where she was competing against adults.

This is just another in a long line of successes this year for Zara, as she was also selected to represent Ireland in an U25 Dressage Team in Scotland where she achieved a personal best, as well as lifting the Silver medal with her team.

During the winter, Zara was a member of the Glenlola Showjumping team which came third in the Tri league at The Meadows competing against 19 other teams.
