Congratulations to Year 13 pupil Amelie Reid on her selection earlier this month to the Netball Northern Ireland U17 Academy.
Glenlola Collegiate pupil Rachel Boyd, Year 9, competed in the Ulster under 18 and over 18 girls’ competition at Clandeboye Golf Club on Monday 4th August and in very windy conditions won the gold medal. She represented Donaghadee Golf Club and competed with Megan Boyd, a past pupil from Bloomfield Collegiate. Congratulations to both girls.
Year 10 pupil Chloe Stewart competed in the Irish Summer National Age Group swimming championships in Limerick in July and won all 8 individual medals, making her Irish champion in all events she entered. Well done Chloe!
Katie Cochrane, Year 10, won Best Portrait in under 16 category and Best Overall teen artist at Saintfield Agricultural Show at the weekend. Well done, Katie!

Congratulations to Glenlola pupils Megan, Tilly, Chloe, Lottie (Year 9) and Meghan and Flossie (Year 10), who won silver medals with Bangor Barracudas U15 girls water polo team in the Tommy Kirk Memorial Tournament at the weekend.
Emma Reid Year 10 competed in the NI & Ulster Age Group Track & Field Championships on the 8th and 15th June. She won gold medals in both U16G discus and U16G shotput and achieved PBs in both. Emma will compete in the Irish Age Group Championships on the 28th June. Well done, Emma!

4Day Five: Firstly, we enjoyed a tour of the Capitol building. Got to go into the Public gallery of the House of Representatives. Heard some Congressmen speak. Visited the Library of Congress. We visited the Supreme Court and finished the evening at the Lincoln Memorial. 🇺🇸💙🦢❤️
