Athletics Success 2016
On Wednesday 4 May Glenlola Collegiate enjoyed fantastic success at the Schools District Athletics Competition. Some notable results were as follows:
Olivia Vaughan finished 2nd in the Intermediate 200m and Emma Carlisle finished 3rd.
Elleana Hull won the Senior Girls Javelin and finished 3rd in the Shot Putt.
Ellen Robinson won the Senior 200m and was 2nd in the 100m.
Rebekah Rutherford won both the Senior Girls Long Jump and Senior Girls High Jump.
Esther Lau won the Senior Girls Hammer and finished 4th in the Discus.
Daina Walton finished third in the Senior Girls triple Jump and Long Jump.
Saskia Greer finished 3rd in the Senior girls 100m.
Kirsty O’Neill finished 3rd in the senior girls high jump.
The Senior Relay Team won the 4 x 100m.
These fantastic set of results led to the Senior Team winning the District Shield.
