Pupil Receives National Citizens Service Award

Jade Heron 12C has recently received her National Citizens Service Award. As part of the award Jade attended a four day team building residential, took part in various workshops and worked helping the homeless in the Belfast area.

Jade received her Award and her 50 hour Millennium Volunteers Certificate at a graduation ceremony in Belfast in December 2015. She is now working towards her 100 hour volunteering certificate by helping at St John’s Badger Set in Newtownards, teaching first aid to children under 11 years and by volunteering at Assisi.
