Public Speaking – Glenlola Success
Congratulations to Jessica Flowers Year 13 who was awarded first place in the Soroptimists’ Public Speaking Competition on Wednesday 25 November 2015. Her five minute speech was entitled ‘Preventing Human Trafficking is the Responsibility of?’ and she competed against nine other pupils. Jessica will represent Glenlola in the NI Final on Saturday 6 February 2016 in Hillsborough Village Centre.
Also great credit is due to Samantha Dornan and Ciara Gilroy, also Year 13, who both competed and delivered fine speeches on their respective topics of the paparazzi and climate change.
