House Dance Competition, Thursday 5 November 2015
The Middle School Dance Competition is one of the main highlights of the House Calendar for both the participants themselves and their excited supporters. It is so warming to see the strong bonds that emerge between members of each house who willingly give up their breaks and lunches, not to mention before and after school time, to dedicate themselves to this competitive but 100% fun-filled event. The hard work is always evident on the day of the dance competition when each House takes centre stage to perform their choreographed routine.
This afternoon was one not to be missed as the skill and entertainment value seems to improve yearly. It’s the cheers, chants and energy from the supporting pupils that encourages the dance teams to perform to the best of their ability. After all Houses had performed, the winner of Middle School House Dance was announced as Clanmorris, with Weir in 2nd place. Congratulations to all the dancers.
