Good evening … Lady Hermon, Alderman Graham, Mr Weir, Mr Butler, fellow Principals, Members of the Board of Governors, Members of Staff, Ladies and Gentlemen and Prize-winners.

We are pleased and honoured that you have been able to join us on this happy occasion to celebrate with us the academic achievements and successes enjoyed by our pupils in the past year. As always, there have been many and there is a great deal of which to be proud, so make yourselves comfortable as this may take some time.
