Pupil Awarded Place on National Youth Theatre Summer Programme

Jule Michelo, a Year 13 pupil at Glenlola Collegiate has beaten off stiff competition to take up a place with the National Youth Theatre in London this summer.

Jule was selected from over 4000 applicants who auditioned all over the UK earlier this year. She will join the group in Greewich, to take part in their Summer Programme in August.

Jule is currently studying A Level Drama & Theatre Studies and has secured several roles in local productions.

Speaking about this amazing achievement, Jule said,

“I am extremely passionate about acting and hope to pursue a future career in the performance industry. This opportunity with the National Youth Theatre will give me invaluable experience in many different aspects of the industry. I sincerely thank the School and my friends and family for all the support they have given me to make this trip possible.”
