District Athletics Successes

Yesterday, 10 May 2018, the Year 8, 9 and 10 athletes competed at the district athletic competition. We had some notable successes:

 

Year 8

Poppy Dann finished 3^rd in the 100m and 2^nd in the Long Jump

Rachel Stockman finished 4^th in the Shot Putt

 

Year 9

Devon Sprake finished 2^nd in the 100m and 4^th in the Long Jump

Beth Hammond finished 2^nd in the Shot Putt

Shannan Farrall finished 3^rd in the High Jump

Connie Butler finished 4^th in the High Jump

 

Year 10

Sarah Eadie finished 4^th in the Triple Jump

Aimee Boyd finished 6^th in the Triple Jump

Megan Drummond finished 3^rd in the 100m and 1^st in the Long Jump

Rose McGreevy finished 1^st in the 75m Hurdles

The 4 x 100m relay team finished 1^st. The team were Sarah Eadie, Aimee Boyd, Devon Sprake and Rose McGreevy.

 

Again, the girls were a credit to Glenlola.  Well done!
