Hockey Club

Here at Glenlola Collegiate we aim to achieve excellence with our hockey teams as well as creating positive sporting experiences for our pupils. Our 1^st Xl hockey team have created history, winning the Super League Final in 2018 and are now competing in a higher league against new, stronger opponents. In total, Glenlola have four Senior hockey teams and six Junior teams who train weekly, play in cup competitions and play matches each Saturday morning.

Junior Hockey at Glenlola is increasing in both size and talent each year. As a school we are inclusive to all abilities and clear improvements can be seen across the Junior teams. With over 120 participants at junior level, we have hockey players being selected for Ulster Development programs and Area Board Squads.

Hockey players at Glenlola Collegiate are enthusiastic, motivated to improve and aim to achieve excellence at all levels. It is the players and coaches together that create a positive team environment, where small improvements and excellent performances drive teams further. With this, Glenlola hockey players are creating long lasting memories for themselves and future players.
